Community Deaf Awareness Training session brings you better knowledge and understanding how to work with and communicate with people who are Deaf to create more inclusive experience. In our session, you will learn about history of Australian Deaf Community, understanding the culture and Auslan, and tools/tips on how to interact with Deaf people appropriately.
All profits from our trainingss are invested back into services for people who are Deaf and hard of hearing. Your trainer will be Deaf or a member of the Deaf Community.
- Suitable for community worker, family, retailer, educators and anyone
- Individuals are welcome to attend this training
- Groups and workplaces are welcome to join this session
Our Community Deaf Awareness training will be delivered via online (hybrid) for an hour. Please note: this training is mainly presentation and does not include Auslan training.
These sessions are limited to 20 people per course and cost $75 per person.
